Sanskriti
The stress of a B-school can be overwhelming sometimes. Projects, assignments, quizzes, and lectures can sap the life out of even the most dedicated student.
The only relief is to find moments of peace and relaxation, whether it's sitting back with a guitar, dancing like no one's watching, or yelling out old Amitabh Bachchan dialogues in the middle of the classroom.
Sanskriti is the embodiment of that sentiment. Undoubtedly, the most active club on campus, Sanskriti hosts and organises most of the cultural events. It is what makes college feel like a home, away from your own.
It nurtures talent and provides a stage for the performer within us. Be it keeping MDI traditions alive through Soul Kitchens or organising cultural competitions to showcase nation-wide talent, Sanskriti does it all.
The club is broadly divided into four verticals: (1) The Core Team or the Jugadoos: In charge of all events and activities on campus, (2) Mukhautey: The Drama team, (3) Mandolins: The Music team and (4) Sole to Soul: The Dance team.
The club's goal is simple: to connect and engage all Mandevians, encourage them to express themselves through dance, music, and drama, and provide a creative break from the busy student life.
It strives to keep the Mandevian spirit alive and create memories that will last a lifetime.
