M.A.R.T. is a student-run cooperative store on campus that aims to fulfill basic necessities like snack foods, confectionery, toiletries, stationeries, and sports items. Apart from these, M.A.R.T. is responsible for designing and selling merchandise. Despite the demanding course schedule, team members consistently work on the procurement of items, inventory management, and store finances. The shop is open every day from 10 p.m. until 11:30 p.m.

The activity club launched its own website (https://www.martmdi.com/) & an Android application to take the store online. This is first of a kind initiative by a student-run body across B-Schools in India. The service allows delivery to your door even at night, making life easier for students. It also allows alumni to purchase MDI merchandise all year long, with shipping across India.

M.A.R.T. even takes care of all major necessities when the new batch joins college. It guarantees an economical supply of mattresses, blankets, batch T-shirts, and hoodies. During convocation and NAM, it sets up stalls to sell MDI merchandise. M.A.R.T. also conducts round-the-year engagement activities like the auction of several articles, online quizzes, hoodie design competitions, etc. During Holi, M.A.R.T. offered unique white tees to the entire batch at a minimal cost. For the outgoing students, M.A.R.T. organized Scribble Day in collaboration with WEvolve and sold scribble T-shirts along with an exciting new range of MDI Souvenirs (pens, mugs, fridge magnets, keychains, etc).

Merchandising and Retail Team is a Non–Profit initiative of students where the profits are donated to a social cause at the end of each financial year.
