Macroeconomic Environment & Policy for Businesses (with Case Studies)

This short programme is designed to provide a broad overview of the macroeconomic environment in terms of key concepts like growth inflation, unemployment and foreign exchange markets etc. and their implications for decision making process of business entities. The sessions will also have elaborate discussion on the nature and functions of different factor markets as well as role of macro economic policies (such as fiscal & monetary policies besides exchange rate & foreign investment) in stimulating and stabilizing economies.

  • To become familiar with the working of a modern economy and study in detail the concepts like inflation, GDP growth, unemployment, HDI, GNH etc.
  • To use these concepts in order to describe business environment and identify the global economic issues which impact business decisions.
  • To equip the working managers with a deeper understanding of different economic principles and theories and to apply these principles to analyze the current economic problems with focus on their implications.
  • This programme would provide skill and knowledge which would help the participants greatly in developing a broader perspective and understand news and analysis of business publications and economic dailies.

Registration & Fees

Participants should be nominated by their organizations. The enclosed nomination form should be completed and returned with all the
details. The fee of the program is Rs. 40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand only) per participant which includes a professional fee and all
charges for lodging and boarding and supply of course materials. GST as applicable will be charged extra in addition to the programme
fee. Payment should be made by Cheque/NEFT/RTGS.
