MDI hosted a "Workshop on Connecting Contract Workers at MDI to Social Security Schemes" the first workshop in the series conducted by Agrasar, a prominent NGO in Gurgaon and hosted by Centre for Ethics, Responsible Organisations & ESG Initiatives (CERO@MDI). Agrasar works in the space of ensuring rights and entitlements to inter-state migrant workers. They are present in 6 major worker colonies in Gurgaon, and help thousands of workers to connect to and benefit from various social security schemes. The workshop aimed to raise awareness among contract workers at MDI about government schemes they are entitled to. It also focused on facilitating the process of connecting these workers to the appropriate social security schemes.
