In the April 2022 edition of MDI Megaminds, four start-ups presented their concepts. These were from the Food Tech, manufacturing, EdTech and e-commerce Analytics sectors. Over 50 people attended the event. Prof. Anjali Kaushik spoke about the thriving start-up ecosystem in India and the potential start-ups have. There was a brainstorming session as is the norm. The four participating start-ups received encouraging response from investors and attendees alike. We are thankful to the start-ups, investors, and enthusiasts who joined us in making this session a successful one. A special thank you to Prof. Anjali Kaushik and Prof. Abhishek Behl for their presence, encouragement, and words of wisdom.
Overall, more than 90 start-ups have presented their concepts at MDI Megaminds so far in the last three years. These have benefitted from investments, networking, and mentorship opportunities. It is an initiative run by the alumni of MDI Gurgaon with the goal of providing a platform to budding start-ups. The April 2022 event was also special because it was held in campus in the offline mode after a gap of two years.
