Fellow Programme in Management

MDI Gurgaon is looking for candidates with a consistently good academic record, professional accomplishments and a strong desire to contribute to knowledge creation and dissemination in the field of management. The programme is offered in Two Tracks: FPM (Residential) and FPM (Non-Residential)

Note: The candidates will be called for an interview (online or offline) in April/May 2026 tentatively.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A minimum of 60% marks in 10th, 12th, and Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent CGPA along with Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks (with first division) or equivalent grade point average recognized by AICTE/AIU OR
  • Five-year integrated Master’s Degree Programme in any discipline with at least 60% marks (with first division), obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) with at least 60% marks (with first division) OR
  • A graduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks and a professional qualification like CA, CMA, CS with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade point average

For FPM (Non-Residential), minimum age of 35 years and a minimum of 10 years of managerial work experience, preferable at senior-level, is required as on last date of application.

For FPM (Residential), those appearing for their final examinations in the respective disciplines can also apply. Candidates have to complete the requirement for the course before June 30, 2026 and produce original certificate /marksheets by September 30, 2026 failing which they may be asked to withdraw from the programme. The maximum age limit to apply for the FPM Residential Programme is 50 Years.

Candidates with gender diversity, PWD (person with a disability), EWS (Economically weaker section), or rural-urban diversity are encouraged to apply for the FPM programme.

Selection Process

Candidates are required to take Standard Tests like CAT/ GMAT/GRE/ UGC-JRF/GATE. Candidates are required to apply through Standard Tests like CAT/GMAT/GRE/ UGC-JRF/GATE, scores valid as on the last date of application. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview either online or offline in April/May 2026 (tentatively) at MDI Gurgaon.

Note: Candidates who have already had two-year full-time MBA/PGP completed in the last ten years from MDI/IIMs/XLRI/FMS with minimum grade point equivalent to 6.0 out of 10-point scale or equivalent are exempted from the test score and can apply directly. It is necessary that candidates applying for exemption from test must attach copies of both sides of the grade sheet to ascertain the equivalence between the grading systems, without which the application for exemption from test will not be considered.

Financial Assistance for FPM Residential Students

FPM scholarship will be given for maximum four years for non MBA students and three years for MBA students. The scholarship will be Rs. 60,000/month. In addition, a total contingency grant of Rs.1,50,000 (Rupees One Lakh Fifty Thousand Only) and conference grant of total Rs.4,00,000 (Rupees Four Lakh Only) shall also be provided to FPM scholars to support their field work, books purchase, research paper presentations etc. The grant of financial assistance will be subject to satisfactory progress in the programme. In addition, the Tuition fee, Reading material fees, Student welfare fees & Library fee will be waived off.

Hostel accommodation is subject to availability and as per institute’s policy.

** 2nd Year onwards FPM Non-residential scholars have to pay Tuition Fees along with Library Fees with 10% hike yearly until the Thesis Viva.

Note: The Institute reserves the right to charge any other fees from the students or increase the above fees if considered necessary. Due notice would be given while making such changes.

Online Application

Applicants have to apply online by visiting the MDI Gurgaon website https://www.mdi.ac.in. They can click on the programme they wish to apply for and follow the instructions given on the website. Online registration will be open from Friday, 21 November 2025 to Wednesday, March 18, 2026 upto 11:59 PM (midnight). Candidates have to make an online payment of Rs. 3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only) inclusive of 18% GST using Credit/Debit card/Net Banking.

Please note that the MDI application form is the only source of information about your personal details, academic background and admission related matters. Your failure to provide fully and accurately the information asked for in the application form can prove to be disadvantageous to you. In case of any false/fabricated information about your personal details, academic background, work experience and other admission related matters, your candidature/admission will automatically be cancelled at later/any stage. It is therefore, advisable that you carefully fill the online application form to ensure that you do not miss out/make mistake in any field applicable to you. Please note that any change in the details entered by you in the MDI online application form cannot be corrected/changed at any stage during the admissions process and any such request/communication will not be entertained at any stage of the admission process.
