Student Exchange Programme
MDI nurtures a vision to be a global business school. As economic networks gained eminence over geographic boundaries, MDI realized the emerging role of international markets and the need for business schools to groom managers with an international perspective. The process of building linkages was started more than eight years ago. As on date, MDI has partnerships in almost every continent of the globe.
The student exchange programme promotes a greater understanding of the multiple perspectives of the international issues and increases the competencies of students who will live and work in an increasingly interdependent world. For the first time in the history of mankind the importance of global citizenship has emerged. Global exposure to a multicultural environment of working is well appreciated by transnational companies and also by Indian corporate houses. Student exchange programmes provide a unique opportunity for the students to enrich their international academic experience and widen their career horizons.
MDI students with academic and / or professional interests in other parts of the world and wanting to understand the global context of business can apply to MDI’s student exchange partner institutes. Depending on the nature of the tie-up students can spend one or two terms in these foreign institutions in lieu of his / her term(s) at MDI. Students can also opt for a dual degree programme with ESCP-EAP, EDHEC Business School, IAE Aix-en- Provence or HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management.
Students have been awarded the Eiffel, DAAD and French Cultural Scholarships for studies in France/Germany. In addition to these they have also secured scholarships/internships from other partner institutions.
