Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon in collaboration with School of Business, University of Connecticut (USA) organized a two-day international conference on “Financial Innovation and Changes for Survival and Growth” on January 7-8, 2011. The conference was co-chaired by Dr. Samiksha Ojha and Dr K N Badhani from MDI, Gurgaon and Dr Shantaram Hegde from University of Connecticut (USA). The conference was inaugurated by Dr C Rangarajan, Chairman, Economic Advisory Committee of the Prime-Minister of India. Mr. M S Sahoo, Full-time Director of the Security and Exchange Board of India and Prof Chinmoy Ghosh, School of Business, University of Connecticut delivered the key-note address. Mr. C S Mohapatra addressed the valedictory session. About 56 papers were presented in the conference by the scholars from different countries.
