Prof. Shrimali holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Ph.D. from the University of Udaipur. He has a singular combination of entrepreneurial experience and teaching and consulting proficiency. He holds a diploma in Labor Laws from Delhi and Management Consulting Course from University of Philippines¸ Manila.

He has traveled extensively within and outside India for presenting papers in national and international Conferences, conducting sessions and programmes. He has also visited academic institutions and industrial organizations in U.S.A., Italy, Belgium, Austria, Netherlands, Germany, France and Canada. He has been serving as a member of the Advisory Board at nine academic institutes /universities. He has also been on the board of directors of IMPCL – a central public sector enterprise.

As a Professor in the Human Resource Management Area, Prof. Shrimali has offered courses on Core HRM, Training and Development, Compensation management, Management Consultancy Development, in the National Management Programme, Post Graduate Programme in Human Resource Management and Executive MBA Program. He has been actively involved in institutional building efforts and contributing towards developing the Institute as a leading business school in India. He has been teaching management for over 36 years, written over 40 case studies / papers and edited two books on management. He has been a key note speaker in a number of national and international conferences. He has successfully discharged responsibilities as Dean for three tenures, Chairman MDP, Chairman Consultancy Services, Chairman Student Affairs, Chairman Placements, Chairman Alumni Relations and several committees including audit committee of the Institute. He was also the Chairman of the Human Resource Management Area at MDI.

Prof. Shrimali has provided Management Consultancy Services in over 40 consultancy assignments. He is a certified management consultant from CMC and has worked for United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in the areas of human resource management and management consulting development. He has been associated with the development of in-house management consulting services in large organizations and public utility services¸ like the electricity boards and road transport undertakings. He was also involved in the three phase Management Consultancy Development project of the Planning Commission (Government of India) and UNDP.

Prof. Shrimali has designed and conducted over 300 Executive Development Programmes in Human Resource Management area and General Management for top level to middle level executives. He has successfully conducted three Advanced Management Programmes addressing to the needs of senior management (General Managers and above) and  besides Executive Development Programmes, three mid career programmes for Revenue Officers, Two MCT for senior DOT officers and over 30 Top Level management workshops.
