Quality Improvement Programmes
 
QIP is for the faculty members of AICTE recognised business management programmes The Government of India launched the Quality Improvement Programme in the year 1970. One of the main objectives of the programme is to upgrade the expertise and capabilities of the faculty members of the degree level institutions in the country. The programme is now being implemented and monitored by All India Council for Technical Education. In " Quality Improvement Programme " only sponsored teachers are eligible for admission to Doctoral level Programmes, with the aim to enable the teachers to acquire Doctoral degrees and imbibe in them a culture of research and better teaching educational capabilities by exposing them to the environment of their institutes of study.

The major activities under QIP for the AICTE recognised degree-level institutions are :

  1. Doctoral Degree Programme

  2. Short Term Courses

  3. Curriculum Development (CD) Cell

The following institutions having QIP Centres offer admission to the Doctoral programme in all the disciplines existing with them :
