An institute is known by the achievements of its alumni and the difference they make to the world around them. Over the 36 years of its existence, MDI has developed a strong and influential network of professionals many of whom are leading companies, building industries and serving the nation. They have made a mark for themselves and their alma mater and make MDI proud of their creed.
MDI values this community and its relationship with MDI. To strengthen the links and to build long lasting associations, the institute has an alumni committee that devotes itself to the cause. The alumni committee lead by a dean and a chairperson along with current students are devoted to providing a platform for meaningful interactions, thoughtful endeavors and relationship building.
MDI Alumni Committee organizes regular annual alumni meet at MDI and also regional meets in different cities in the country. During these meets, these mangers go down the memory lane and enjoy together sports, cultural and other thoughtful activities organized by students and strengthen bonding in the fun loving community. The MDI Alumni Committee keeps its alumni updated through a quarterly e-Newsletter.
The Alumni contribute to the development of the student community through the Business Thought Leadership and Synapse lecture series. These series serve as a forum for exchange and sharing practical functional expertise between business leaders and the future managers. MDI is steadfast to further strengthen the bonds with alumni through reunion meets, group interactions and by involving alumni in MDI activities in coming times.
