About the Organizers Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon is a premier management school in India. Established in 1973 as an autonomous body by Industrial Finance Corporation of India (IFCI) with initial grants from KFW, West Germany, MDI has completed 37 years of academic excellence as an institute of practicing managers. Indian Association of Special Libraries and Information Centres (IASLIC) Indian Association of Special Libraries and Information Centres (IASLIC) was established in September 1955 as a non-profit making national, professional body to:
IASLIC is composed of two kinds of members, namely individual and institutional. IASLIC has in its fold most of the important libraries spread all over India as institutional members, while a sizable number of people in the profession are either life or ordinary members. INDEST-AICTE Consortium The Indian National Digital Library in Engineering Science and Technology (INDEST) Consortium was set-up by Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India in the year 2003 with 48 centrally-funded Government institutions including IITs, IISc, NITs, NERIST, ISM, IIIT, IIITM , NITIE, IISER & NITTTR as its core. The ministry provides funds required for access to select e-resources for the core members. Other institutions may join the consortium for any of its resources by paying for them at highly discounted rates. The Consortium was converted into INDEST-AICTE Consortium in December 2005 with the AICTE playing pivotal role in enrolling its affiliated engineering colleges and institutions as members of the consortium. The consortium has enrolled 908 members including 457 member institutions under its self- supported category. |
